What is DailyReader.net?
DailyReader.net is a service that allows individuals to read novels conveniently over email. Within the site, individuals may find books and subscribe to them, and also discuss topics with the DailyReader.net community. Our goal at DailyReader.net is to help people, especially those that don't think they have enough time, to read more. Why use DailyReader.net?
DailyReader.net allows you to easily set a schedule to read every week. You can read as little as a couple of minutes or you could be finishing a book a week - whatever works for you! You will have the convenience of reading whenever and wherever you want. How to use DailyReader.net?
We try to make DailyReader.net as easy to use as possible. It is as simple as finding a book and then subscribing to it. When you subscribe to a book you select how long you would like to read, which days you would like to receive your installments and at what time. The book will then begin being sent to you automatically at your pre-determined time. You can keep track of your progress (we'll show you your estimated finish date in the subscription management panel and a progress indicator in your account management page. If you need any help figuring things out, then you can ask for help in our help forum.

If you are not receiving any emails from us, then please check this help topic. If you have been receiving emails from us, and the previous link didn't help, then please check this help topic. My installment was too long/too short
We try to tailor your installments very closely to the length that you have requested. There are a few factors that may influence the exact amount that we send though. Mainly, if you have not yet taken our reading speed test, then we suggest that you do so. It takes only a couple minutes and will greatly improve our estimations. We will also make your installment a little shorter or longer to try to stop at a chapter ending (up to a certain threshold). Lastly, we will not break up paragraphs or certain sections that we feel really must remain together. While this will not normally have much affect, the books of some authors that have a certain affinity for overly long paragraphs (Dostoevsky, I'm looking at you) may display this more than others. Why did my installment stop there??
Well, first let us say that you may always opt to send another installment to keep reading (with the link included at the bottom of every installment). We try to stop installments at chapters endings when possible but we also try to make your installments close to the length that you have requested. So, if we can't stop at a chapter or section ending, then we will try to break your installment at a convenient place. However, that is, unfortunately, not always possible. So, while we regret that your installment may have ended in the middle of a conversation, sometimes it is simply unavoidable.Modifying a subscription
To modify an existing subscription, visit the page of the book you are subscribed to (you can view a list of the books that you are currently subscribed to in your account management page). Then simply make the adjustments that you would like in the subsription panel and click `update`.Pausing a subscription
If you would like to pause a subscription for a while, then you must visit the page of the book that you are subscribed to and then, in the subscription panel, click the `pause your subscription` link beneath the `update` button. Your subscription will remain paused until you return to this screen and update your subscription.Unsubscribing
If you decide that you are no longer interested in receiving a book, then you may visit the page of the book and select `Unsubscribe from this book` (this option can be found at the bottom of the subscription panel). This will delete your subscription, so if you decide to resume reading this book you will start from the beginning.
Reading speed
Your reading speed affects the estimated lengths that are displayed for books along with the length of the installments that are sent to you. To improve the accuracy of these items, we have a reading speed test, which allows us to get a better idea of the pace that you are accustomed to reading at. Once you have submitted the test, all length displays and your subscriptions will be automatically updated.
Books
Finding a book
You may find a book by either browsing our list of books or searching for a particular book (by title, author, or category - a search box can always be found in the top right corner of the page).Where's the book I want?
If we don't have a book that you are interested in reading, then you may suggest it in our request a book forum. Please not that we are only able to provide books that are in the public domain (this usually means books that were published prior to 1923). It takes a while to add a new book into the system, so we can't add everything, but we do try to consistently add new books and we certainly want to add the books that people are actually interested in.
